The Petroleum Chemistry program is designed to prepare graduates with the sound theoretical and practical knowledge required for the development of the petroleum and petrochemical sector.

• Develop and train via excellent practical knowledge in the field of renewable energy and technology.
• Understand the reality of the energy crisis and raise awareness towards finding lasting solutions.
• Perform as energy problem solvers, whose lives are transformed for the sake of service and leadership.
• Fully understand the environmental problems associated with oil & gas exploration, production and processing and ways to combat them.
• Have the relevant skills and leadership abilities suitable for entrepreneurship, scholarship, community service and employment.

Job Opportunities

Graduated chemists work exclusively in many fields including scientific institutes and universities, petroleum and natural gas production companies and refineries laboratories, production of the biofuel industry, in addition to petrochemical industries.
