This program serves planning and management of development projects, and provides knowledge and skills related to the stages of the planning process (information gathering, analysis and planning for the future in the light of available resources), types of planning and its elation to social development in order to achieve their objectives in sustainable development with a focus on the types of leadership and characteristics of the successful leader and the role of leadership in the success of development.
The graduate should acquire full understanding of all laws related to development projects and ways to overcome personal, social and organizational problems and participate in the planning, management and evaluation of social development projects. The program qualifies graduates to works in The Ministry of Planning, Planning departments in different ministries and NGOS.
A graduate is able to design the research tools and apply the planning and development methods of the development projects, write planning reports, applying the tests related to the feasibility studies of the projects and their developmental impact, and reading and understanding the results of applying the tests related to the success stages of the development plans success.
Moreover, the graduate should acquire full understanding of all laws related to development projects and ways to overcome personal, social and organizational problems, write objective scientific reports, and participate in the planning, management and evaluation of social development projects.
