Dr Hossameldin Mohammed Abdelkader Ahmed is an associate professor at Faculty of Business – Ain Shams University and at Faculty of Administrative Sciences – King Salman International University (KSIU). Hossam is Soref Fellow at Washington Insitute for Near East Policy and he was a visiting scholar at Department of Economics-College of Arts and Scinces- the University of North Carolina-at Chapil Hill (USA). Hossam has a Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham (the UK), a M.Sc. from the University of Southampton (the UK), and a M.Sc. from Ain Shams University (Egypt). He was teaching at the University of Birmingham, London School of Economics (International Program), Georgia State University (with Cairo University), Ain Shams University, GUC, MIU, and BUC.
Hossam was first researcher in many studies with international and national organizations like: United Nations, World Bank, WHO, UNICF, German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Alexandria Bibliotheca and Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. Moreover, he was a consultant for Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Economic Committee at League of Arab States (the Council of Arab Economic Union), General Coordinator at Korean-Egyptian Development Association. Also, He served as Dean Assistant, manager of Crisis Research Unit, and manger of Internatioanl Publication Unit at Faculty of Business-Ain Shams University. Furthermore, Hossam is a member of Egyptian Society of Political Economy, Statistics and Legislation, and Syndicate of Commercial Professions.
Hossam’s research interests concern Applied Econometrics, Macroeconomics, Monetary Policy, and Fiscal Policy.
